ADULT MINISTRIES

Real life happens everyday. Don't face it alone.

WE HAVE MANY MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS

MEN     //     WOMEN     //     SENIORS     //     LIFEGROUPS

MOPS     //     DivorceCare     //     How We Love     //     GriefShare     //     First Five

Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)

The pace and pressure of daily life can make it easier to disengage than connect. A large church like SPCC can add to the challenge of finding connections.

Men’s ministry’s purpose is to encourage men to stay engaged and help them get connected to Christ and each other. We hold events throughout the year like BBQ's, breakfasts, golf tournaments, and our Men's Retreat.

If you'd like to connect with the men of SPCC, we would love to meet you and help you get plugged in.

To find out more, contact Dan Stone at dan@spcc.tv or 360.853.5504.

Have you ever felt that in a large church it is hard to get to know other women and build relationships? Our Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for women to come together and get to know each other, while growing closer to Christ. The Women’s Ministry at SPCC is for women of all ages and stages of life.

In addition to Spring and Fall Women’s Bible Studies (held on Tuesday mornings at SPCC), we hold periodic events throughout the year including our Annual Women’s Retreat, Ladies Night Out and the Women’s Breakfast.

To find out more on how you can get plugged in, contact Ellen Smith at ellen@spcc.tv or 360.913.0066.

SENIOR ADULTS

If you receive a discount on coffee at restaurants because of your age and seek to be part of a loving, caring group of friends we’d be happy to have you join our Senior Adult Ministry!

MONTHLY OUTINGS

We regularly travel to new and exciting places. Our destinations are often scenic or educational locations through the Pacific Northwest. See the sights. Connect with friends. Get out of the house. Transportation provided.

WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

We meet each week at the church to study the Bible, pray together and reflect.

For times, locations or questions, contact the church office.

LIFE GROUPS

We believe that God's design for our spiritual growth is best accomplished in small groups. Isolated, we're weak. In community, we're strong.

We meet weekly in our Life Groups  to encourage and help each other grow in our walk with Christ. We form meaningful friendships and find joy in serving together.

As we share God's Word, confess our needs, and sharpen each other  in our groups, we experience the freedom Jesus purchased for us.

To learn more about Life Groups, contact Pastor Tim Quick at tim@spcc.tv.

MOPS & MOMSnext

MOPS runs from September to May and meets every Thursday from 9:30am - Noon.

... This is motherhood

MOPS exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  We are a group of moms from pregnancy through preschool.  MOMSnext is for moms with children in grade school.  Both groups meet together but have separate small groups.

For more information, email spccmopsinfo@gmail.com.

DIVORCE CARE

DivorceCare meets on Mondays at 7:00 PM

Help…Hope…Healing

DivorceCare is a specialty weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It’s a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. It’s a place where you can hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.

Please contact the church office with any questions.

HOW WE LOVE

Are you, or have you been in a relationship that seems to recycle the same old unresolved patterns of hurt? Are you willing to settle for “spin cycle”, or do you desire transformation? This is a fantastic workshop for married, divorced, or singles that can help you break free from destructive patterns that hold you back from honoring Christ in your relationships.

For more information please contact the church office

GRIEFSHARE

You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Find help at our Women’s GriefShare and meet with caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Join us Mondays at Noon in the D building.

Please contact the church office with any questions.
