HIGH SCHOOL

MINISTRY

Our Student Ministries are a critical part of the life of Smokey Point Community Church. We place a high priority on our student ministries because students are at a critical place in life.  Opportunities are many and choices have far-reaching consequences, and because their impact on the Kingdom of God can be awesome!

We believe that students are capable of big things. We accomplish this is through prayer, relationships and some serious fun. Our programs are designed to provide an environment for discipleship to take place.

WEEKLY

SCHEDULE

Weekend Services

High School students are encouraged to participate in one of the all-church weekend services.

FIRE (Wednesdays)

FIRE is the foundation of our High School ministry. We meet Wednesdays from 7pm-8:15pm for worship and some fun.  Every several weeks we go big with maybe an open-mic coffee house experience, video scavenger hunt, our Gladiators event, or some other craziness.

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups meet weekly through the school year at different times.  If you are serious about your faith and want to be challenged in your pursuit of Jesus, this is where you will want to plug in!

And More...

A big part of what we do is get away on trips.  Mission trips, summer camp, winter camp, trips to bring your friends on, discipleship training trips,…etc.

Get plugged in to what is going on in our high school ministry!

Our theme is The Fill Full Fall.
Interwoven into the deepest fibers of our being is the desire to seek satisfaction and fulfillment. When we seek this in the things of this world, we fill ourselves with everything but the One who can truly satisfy us. Ultimately, if we are not filled with Christ, this world can only leave us with a false sense of satisfaction. We want to urge students to seek fulfillment in Jesus Christ by desiring to know Him more deeply, to become rooted and grounded in love and to be filled with all fullness of God, so that it overflows and falls on those around them.

The Homework Place

Monday Afternoons!*

Do you need a quiet atmosphere to work on homework? We will be turning the upstairs Children's Chapel into The Homework Place on Monday afternoons.

Not a social time - not a tutoring center - but a place with wifi and space to get things done.

Bring your own laptop, headphones and homework. Please refrain from Zoom calls.

Masks and social distancing required to keep everyone safe.

Limited space so weekly sign ups are required.

*No Homework Place on Mondays if it falls on a

no-school Holiday
