Operation Christmas Child Packing Party!
Sunday November 10th from 4-6pm in the Youth Room!
Join us for our 4th annual Christmas Shoebox Packing Party as we pack 100 shoeboxes!
Take your kids shopping for shoe box items, bring them to the church on weekends or at D-Club then join in with us and other families to pack as many boxes as we can with all that we have collected! We will pack items, add personal notes and photos, and pray over our boxes together! We will provide the shoe boxes and snacks. We can’t wait to see how many boxes we can fill and how God will use these simple gifts to change lives around the world!
We will be collecting items every week with a emphasis each week. Any items can come in any time though. Collection boxes will be in the kid’s chapel and preschool hallway during weekend services and D-club.
We are also accepting financial donations to help cover the $900 in shipping costs for these 100 boxes.
OCT 21-27: SCHOOL SUPPLIES (pencils, sharpeners, pens, crayons, colored pencils, paper, spiral notebooks)
OCT 28-NOV 3: HYGIENE ITEMS (bar soap, wash cloths, combs, brushes, toothbrushes)
NOV 4-10: TOYS & TRINKETS ($1 or less items, bouncy balls, color books, jump ropes, yo yos, playdough, light up toys, toy cars)
Things we CANNOT PACK: candy, chocolate, food, fruit snacks, drink mixes, toothpaste, used or damaged items, war-related items such as toy gun, knives, military figures, liquid, lotions, medications, hand sanitizer, vitamins, breakable items, glass, aerosol cans
